European Car Servicing in Singapore

A proper European car service covers more than an oil change. We follow your car's service indicator or handbook, change the oil and filters it calls for, inspect brakes, suspension, fluids and belts, and tell you what we found. You approve any extra work before we start.

What does a European car service include?

The exact scope depends on your model, engine and what the service indicator is asking for. Most scheduled services start with an engine oil and oil filter change, followed by a check of the other filters and fluids.

We then look over the parts that wear quietly: brake pads and discs, tyres, suspension joints, drive belts, hoses and the battery. Anything that is close to its limit is pointed out so you can plan ahead.

If a warning light is on, we can read the fault codes as part of the visit. See our diagnostics service for how that works.

How often should I service my Mercedes, BMW, Audi or VW?

The simplest rule is to follow your car's service indicator and the maker's handbook. Modern European cars calculate service timing from how the engine is used, so two similar cars can be due at different times.

Short trips, heavy traffic and long idling are common in Singapore, and these can be harder on oil than steady highway driving. If you are unsure which schedule suits your driving, ask us and we will explain the options. Our guide to the European car service schedule in Singapore goes into more detail.

What happens when I bring my car in?

The process is the same whatever the make, so you always know what to expect.

  1. You tell us what the car is doing and what the service indicator shows.
  2. We inspect the car and read its system for stored fault codes where relevant.
  3. We explain the findings in plain words, separating what is needed now from what can wait.
  4. We give you a quote for the work.
  5. You approve it, and only then do we start.
  6. We go through what was done when you collect the car.

Which signs mean my car needs attention before the next service?

What you noticePossible areaWhat we check

Squealing or grinding when brakingWorn pads or discsPad thickness, disc surface, brake fluid

This table is a general guide. The real cause can differ by model and fault, which is why we inspect before suggesting any repair.

Can an independent workshop service my European car?

Yes. Many owners choose an independent workshop for servicing and repairs, and the main thing is that the work follows the maker's schedule and is recorded properly. We keep a clear record of what was done so it is easy to show at your next service or when you sell.

Our guide on dealer vs independent workshops in Singapore sets out the points worth weighing.

Where is the workshop?

We are at 143 Bukit Timah Road, Newton Circus, inside the Shell station. If you are near Novena, Orchard or Toa Payoh, we are a short drive away. You can find the map and WhatsApp details on our contact page.

Questions owners ask

How much does a service cost?

It depends on the model, the engine and what the service involves, so we do not quote a number before seeing the car. After inspection we give you a quote, and you agree to it before any work begins.

Which car makes do you service?

We work on European cars including Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Audi and Volkswagen. If your car is another make, send us a message with the model and year and we will tell you whether we can help.

Do I need to book a service in advance?

It helps to message us on WhatsApp first so we can understand what your car needs and arrange a time. Tell us the model, mileage and any warning lights, and we will advise you on the next step.

Will you do extra repairs without asking me?

No. We inspect, explain what we find, and give you a quote. Any extra work is only carried out after you approve it, so there are no surprises when you collect the car.
