Mercedes-Benz Service and Repair in Singapore

Mercedes-Benz owners in Singapore usually come to us for scheduled servicing, warning lights, overheating, aircon faults and gearbox concerns. We inspect first, read the fault codes, explain what we find and quote the work. You approve it before we start.

Why is my Mercedes engine overheating?

Overheating usually points to the cooling system, such as a coolant leak, a weak water pump, a faulty thermostat, a failing fan or a blocked radiator. Low coolant is often the sign of a leak somewhere.

If the temperature warning appears, stop safely as soon as you can and switch off the engine. Do not open the cap on a hot system. Driving on can cause serious engine damage. Once the engine has cooled, we look at coolant level, hoses, the water pump, thermostat and fan to find where the problem sits. Our guide on Mercedes engine overheating in Singapore covers it in more detail.

What do warning lights on a Mercedes mean?

Warning lights come from the car's control units. An amber light usually means a fault has been stored and should be checked soon. A red light, such as for oil pressure or coolant, is more urgent.

We read the codes with a diagnostic tool, then test the related parts so we do not replace anything on a guess. See our diagnostics service.

This is a general guide only. Causes vary by model and fault.

How often should I service my Mercedes?

Follow your car's service indicator and the handbook. Modern Mercedes models calculate service timing from how the car is used, so two cars of the same age can be due at different times.

We can explain what a service on your model typically includes, and our guide to the European car service schedule gives general background. For the service itself, see European car servicing.

What happens when I bring my Mercedes in?

  1. You tell us the model, year and what you have noticed.
  2. We inspect the car and read its stored fault codes.
  3. We explain the findings and what is urgent or can wait.
  4. We quote the repair.
  5. You approve, and only then do we start.

Our workshop is at 143 Bukit Timah Road, Newton Circus, inside the Shell station. Find the details on our contact page.

Questions owners ask

Which Mercedes-Benz models do you work on?

We work on Mercedes-Benz cars, but coverage varies by model and the job. Message us with your model and year and we will tell you whether we can help with your car.

How much does a Mercedes service cost?

It depends on the model and what the service needs, so we do not state a number. After inspection we give you a quote, and you agree to it before work begins.

My Mercedes temperature gauge is rising. What should I do?

Stop safely as soon as you can and switch off the engine. Do not open the coolant cap while hot. Then contact us or arrange recovery, as continuing to drive can damage the engine.

Can you read the fault codes on my Mercedes?

Yes, we can read codes as part of a diagnostic check. The codes point to an area, so we also test the related parts before recommending a repair.
